Approximately 40% of users faced a total internet blackout, while 60% reported having connection issues.
A significant impact of this outage was on military communications in Ukraine. Robert "Magyar" Brovdi, commander of Ukraine's unmanned systems force, posted on social media that Starlink service was down "across the entire front line." Although service began to gradually restore about an hour later, this incident served as a stark reminder of the reliance of critical infrastructure on network stability.
It is worth noting that this marks the second major service outage for Starlink in two months. A previous outage in July also left thousands of users without internet for several hours. At the time, Starlink officially stated that the failure was caused by a "failure of key internal software services."
